Raleigh House day centre offers a warm and friendly social environment for people over 65.

Raleigh House in New Malden is a warm and vibrant centre and a great place to make new friends.

We offer a two-course lunch and refreshments every day.

What we offer

The centre is bright and spacious, with large lounge and dining areas, hairdressing salon, podiatry clinic, accessible shower room and a sheltered courtyard garden and terrace.

Our trained and experienced team can support people living with dementia, helping people keep engaged and active.

We work with families and carers to make sure everyone has the right level of support, and we can help you take advantage of other services to support you or the person you care about stay independent in your own home.

Joining a Staywell day centre will give you easy access to practical support, information and advice (including making sure you are receiving all the income you are entitled to) and other services which you may find useful, such as our Help at Home and Handyperson service.

If need be, we can liaise with other people and organisations involved in supporting you, such as your relatives, your GP or the local authority.

Transport

We can provide accessible transport to and from Raleigh House for an additional charge of £16, subject to availability, from anywhere in the borough of Kingston-upon-Thames. Our minibuses are well-staffed with a driver and a passenger assistant and have tail-lift access to accommodate users who require mobility aids, including wheelchairs.

We can also advise you on eligibility for a Blue Badge, Taxi-Card or Dial-a-Ride membership and help you apply if needed.

During the day you will be well looked after, enjoy a freshly made two-course meal and have fun through a range of structured activities including chair-based exercise. Located close to the centre of Kingston, the centre is contemporary and bright in feel, with an enclosed patio garden and summerhouse for use in the warmer months of the year.
