About the centre

The Bradbury is a small purpose-built day centre close to the centre of Kingston. Contemporary and bright in feel, it has a pretty, enclosed patio garden and summerhouse for use in the warmer months of the year.

The centre offers a warm and supportive environment for older people who would like to socialise with others in similar circumstances. During the day you will be well looked after, enjoy a freshly made two-course meal and have fun through a range of structured activities including chair-based exercise.

You will receive refreshments on arrival and afternoon tea.

People using the centre will need to be able to manage their own personal care.

Opening times

The Bradbury is currently open on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays between 10am and 3pm and for yoga only on Tuesday mornings.

Why join a Staywell day centre?

People tell us that attending a Staywell centre gives them something to look forward to and that they enjoy laughter and companionship. Relatives tell us that we look after their loved ones really well.

Joining a Staywell day centre will give you easy access to practical support, information and advice (including making sure you are receiving all the income you are entitled to) and other services which you may find useful, such as our Help at Home and Handyperson service.

If need be, we can liaise with other people and organisations involved in supporting you, such as your relatives, your GP or the local authority.

Transport

We can advise you on eligibility for a Blue Badge, Taxi-Card or Dial-a-Ride membership and help you apply if needed.
