'It's been a fantastic service from you starting with the clear arrangements by email, giving me advance warning on the day, and the cheerful & helpful men in the van.'

Making homes… saving waste!

Kingston Community Furniture collects unwanted quality furniture to be re-sold, restored and re-used.

We work to support local families and individuals in need – whilst also helping the environment by saving waste.

Kingston Community Furniture is part of Staywell's wider charity work and helps by providing good quality and affordable household goods, support and work experience for volunteers, while also reducing the amount of furniture going to landfill.

By using Kingston Community Furniture you are ensuring that more good quality and affordable items are available to the local community while at the same time supporting a local community charity. Thank you.

Domestic collections in Kingston Borough - donate your good quality items and raise funds for Staywell

Collections are free but KCF can only pick up usable quality furniture. We do ask you to Gift Aid the sale value of items collected, providing you are a tax payer, and would also invite you to make a donation, usually £15.00, towards our collection costs.

Our drivers will make the final decision as to whether we are able to reuse items and collection is not guaranteed.

Mattress Recycling in Kingston

We offer a mattress recycling service in the Royal Borough of Kingston. For a small charge of only £30.00 we will collect your surplus mattress and pass it on to our recycling partners to be dismantled.

Unless your mattress constitutes a health hazard (e.g. bed bugs) clearance is guaranteed when the collection charge has been paid.

Mattresses present ongoing waste problems which can be solved by recycling. This also helps to preserve and protect our environment.
