Leaving a gift in your Will

This a great way of ensuring our work continues at Raleigh House, The Bradbury and in the community.

Staywell (the new working name for Age Concern Kingston) has been working for older people in the local area for 70 years. The work we do today is built upon the generosity of those who have given in the past. Leaving a gift to Staywell in your Will is a positive and special way to make a difference to future generations.

It is easy to make a Will – and important too.  A Will is the only way to make sure you leave your money and property to the people or causes you care about. If you would like to benefit Staywell or another charity, you need to make that clear in your Will.  Leaving a legacy is a tax efficient way to support us as your estate will pay no Inheritance Tax or Capital Gains Tax on the value of your gift.

Our legal name is still Age Concern Kingston upon Thames.  To make sure that we receive the legacy you leave us, please ensure that your solicitor or Will drafter states our full name and Charity Number in your will:

Age Concern Kingston upon Thames, Charity Number 299988.

It helps us plan for the future if we know you have arranged to leave us a legacy, so if possible,  contact us to let us know.

Above all, do ensure that you receive independent, professional advice when making your Will.

We have an arrangement with an experienced firm of local solicitors whereby they offer a DISCOUNTED WILL SERVICE to people aged over 55 who want to make a simple will.  Please call our Advice Line if you would like further information and/or an introduction.
